Overbecks Sub Tropical Gardens and House – National Trust

Now managed by the National Trust Overbecks Gardens is on our doorstep and well worth visiting. Located overlooking the mouth of the Salcombe estuary the sub tropical gardens at Overbecks is home to a wide range of exotic plants. The Edwardian house, previously the home of an eccentric tea clipper captain and inventor, houses an interesting museum and there is a great tea room serving delicious Devon Cream teas.
