Being located on the most southerly peninsula in South Devon, spring arrives early at Tides Reach Hotel Salcombe, with this area, known as the South Hams, having one of the mildest climates in mainland Britain.

The Tides Reach Hotel opens in the middle of February in time for Valentines and many of our regular guests love to come and stay with us at this very special time of year, when the coastal paths, cliffs, lanes, footpaths and hedgerows are alive with wild flowers.

For many walkers, botanists and ornithologists, springtime is their favourite time to visit South Devon for a special short break, with the added benefit of being able to get around easily on foot or by car and discover and explore off the beaten track.

Low season special offers are built into our tariff or on occassions there will be special discounted breaks displayed on our special offers and last minute availability page.
