South Devon is renowned for top quality walking and you can start a number of fantastic coastal walks from the Tides Reach with the South West Coastal Path running directly in front of the hotel.
Our staff has information on local walks and can help you plan some great days out to include pub or picnic lunches, Devon cream teas and a local walking guide.
One of the most popular walks is to Bolt Head, a dramatic rocky headland at the mouth of the estuary where thousands gathered to watch the Spanish Armada make its way up the English Channel. Other special walks include taking the foot ferries across the estuary and discovering the beautiful beaches, coves and wildlife.
Returning to the hotel you can restore any aching limbs in the Spa and Leisure Club or indulge in a massage or beauty treatment.
The Tides Reach Hotel is a dog friendly hotel and welcomes well behaved dogs so you can enjoy a walking break to South Devon together.
